London – Travel Channel International is launching Travel Channel Asia HD in the Asia Pacific on the DishHD Asia platform. It is the latest addition to Dish HD’s channel line-up.

Available via MEASAT 3 satellite, this service launches on 8 December. The channel’s flagship programming will include shows such as The Path to Shaolin, World’s Greatest Motorcycle Rides, Essential, It’s a Woman’s World, Indian Times, and Inside Luxury Travel.

Geoff Ellis, Chief Operating Officer, Travel Channel International, said this deal is a significant move for the network as it comes just one year after the SD launch.
