FilmLight showcases the power of Baselight and Truelight

FilmLight, a leading provider of digital film and video technology, will display effective solutions for RED code and stereoscopic 3D workflow at its booth at BroadcastAsia 09.

With the integration of Truelight, FilmLight's colour management technology, post houses can confidently show clients exactly how the image will look when displayed on screen or in theatres and ensure that the look is translated correctly throughout the entire post-production process from grading through to the laboratory.

Also on demo is Baselight HD colour grading system, which marries the flexibility and power of a leading software colour corrector with the speed and performance of cutting edge cluster processing technology, providing an integrated solution for commercials and DI.

Baselight is a highly flexible system at home with all input and output resolutions and formats, and with linear, video and log image sequences; timelines can even include shots of different formats. Baselight offers real-time connectivity for SD and HD direct to tape, or for all resolutions up to and including 2K from a SAN.
