KURT RIEDER TAKES OVER THE REIGNS AT GOLDEN VILLAGE

Singapore - Golden Village announced the appointment of Kurt Rieder as its new CEO. He will succeed the retiring David Glass, who has served as Golden Village’s CEO since 2008. Rieder’s appointment as CEO is effective immediately.

Rieder brings more than 20 years of experience in the fi lm industry, which includes a previous stint as Golden Village’s MD from 2002 to 2003. Prior to joining Golden Village, he was the MD of Artisan Gateway, a leading consulting fi rm for Asia’s fi lm industry. In that role, Rieder serviced clients such as Motion Picture Association, IMAX, Galaxy Studio and United International Pictures in territories including Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Japan and Turkey.

“His broad and in-depth industry knowledge, leadership and technical expertise, coupled with his deep understanding of Golden Village’s businesses, strong customer focus, marketing acumen and operational excellence makes him the perfect leader to ensure the continued growth of Golden Village,” said David Glass.
