MFX upgrades post facility
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Local post-production house MFX recently upgraded to Autodesk Flame VFX 2012 coupled with Autodesk Flare, for their post-production and finishing facility in Kuala Lumpur.
The recent upgrade to more sophisticated technology and tools is part of the house’s commitment to better equip their digital artists with new tools and extended capabilities to pave way for more opportunities.
“The upgrade to Autodesk Flame helps our digital artists deliver better work quality within tight deadlines with its high-performance, scalable 3D visual effect, design, and finishing. The end result we hope to create is industry-leading visual effects and reduced time spent in post-production and finishing as the tool also helps build a more flexible workflow through cross-pipeline collaboration”, said Belinda Teoh, Senior Producer at MFX.
“The digital post-production environment is getting very competitive and complex and therefore we are continuously looking for ways to enhance our offerings,” added Teoh.
MFX has been using Digital Entertainment Creation (DEC) software from Autodesk such as Autodesk Flint and Maya for the last 8 years and had recently added Autodesk Flare and Flame to create more innovative content through integrated digital production environment that support creativity and improve efficiency.
