MP & Silva to distribute the 2014 Asian Games

Singapore – MP & Silva, an international sports media company, has entered a long-term global partnership with the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) to distribute the worldwide media rights for several upcoming regional sporting events.

This deal will see the distribution of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, the 2012 Haiyang Asian Beach Games, the 2013 Asian Indoor and Martial Art Games, the 2013 Asian Youth Games, the 2013 Asian Unity Games and the 2014 Phuket Asian Beach Games.

The Asian Games, organized by the OCA, takes place every 4 years and is the world’s second largest multi-sport event after the Olympic Games, involving 45 nations from Asia and the Middle East. With a television audience of billions of people, the 2010 Asian Games was watched in 850 million houses in China alone, with 2,500 hours of broadcasting transmission.
