Reflecmedia displays portable chroma key solutions

Reflecmedia displays its range of ChromaFlex and Chromatte solutions utilising a unique approach to chroma key by using a camera-mounted LiteRing, of either blue or green LEDs. Together with a unique reflective fabric, Chromatte, it generates the even-coloured background required for the technique.

Chroma key – commonly referred to as blue screen or green screen – is the technique for combining two images, in which the coloured background from one image is removed (or made transparent) to reveal another image behind it.

The product features functions and video connectivity for DV, with S-Video (Y/C) and Composite camera inputs, together with DV (Firewire, IEEE-1394) for both input of backgrounds and output of the composite.

While traditional chroma key involves a complex studio setup with a large blue or green screen background, Reflecmedia’s innovative range of flexible, portable, safe and easy to use products require minimal lighting and technical expertise allowing for use in any location.
