S.two ships 100th OB-1 to Cine Equipment
Reno, Nevada – S.two Corporation has shipped the 100th OB-1 on-board recorder to Singapore-based Cine Equipment.
OB-1, S.two’s on-board digital cinematography recorder, has been delivered to customers in 20 countries and is widely used in feature film, commercial and television productions worldwide, starting with “Kill the Irishman”, produced by Karl Walter Lindenlaub in 2009, and including 2011 films such as “Killer Joe” and “Mr. Popper’s Penguins”.
OB-1 is a fully self-contained uncompressed recorder for HD, HD4:4:4 and raw production, weighs less than 7 lbs. (3Kg) and draws less than 20W of power. It is powered directly from the camera, uses removable solid state FlashMag magazines and is completely silent in operation.
A full range of features, including high quality real-time de-Bayering of ARRIRAW with user-loadable LUTs and automatic metadata-compensated image monitoring, combined with economical data transfer stations, means no surprises and unparalleled efficiency in post.
