Kuala Lumpur – Measat Satellite Systems Sdn. Bhd. (Measat) has signed a long term agreement with Solar Entertainment Corporation (Solar) for renewal of capacity on the Measat-3/3a satellites.

This agreement further extends Solar’s services with additional capacity on Measat-3 for two new channels.

Solar first used Measat-1 to distribute four standard definition (SD) channels in 2004. The number of channels has now increased to ten SD channels and one high definition (HD) channel, all distributed via the Measat-3/3a satellites.
