SPE Networks-Asia announce changes to senior management
Singapore: SPE Networks-Asia in expanding from two to six channel brands including AXN Asia, Animax Asia, Sony Entertainment Television (SET), AXN Beyond, PIX and PIX Thriller, has announced changes to its senior management. Jack Lim has been appointed as vice president, advertising sales and marketing. Replacing Gregory Ho who has been promoted to vice president and general manager, Animax Asia, Lim will be responsible for ad sales revenue growth.
Lim will drive advertising and sponsorship revenue for the four ad-supported channel brands of AXN, Animax, AXN Beyond and SET. He will also oversee research, marketing services, sales operations and new business development. Lim was formerly communications director for ASEAN/South Asia at computing firm IBM where he led a 40-strong communications team in planning and executing IBM’s global brand and communications campaigns regionally. He has held various sales and market development roles at GE and CNBC, the last being market development director at GE Corporate.
In his new role as head of Animax Asia, Gregory Ho oversees all aspects of the channel operations including programming, marketing and on-air presentation. Ho held the position of vice president, ad sales for the last three years and was formerly director of marketing for AXN when he joined SPE Networks-Asia in 1999.
