Viewers invited to come 'Inside' concept film

Intel, in collaboration with Toshiba, has created "Inside", the first blockbuster-caliber social film experience that allows viewers to have an active voice and play a participating role in the film's outcome via social media.

The story is about Christina (played by actress Emmy Rossum), a woman who is trapped in a room with only a laptop and an untraceable Internet connection. Christina uses the laptop to mobilize her social network, reaching out to anyone who can help her figure out where she's being held and how to escape. Viewers are encouraged to connect with Christina and help decode her dilemma by tweeting clues and posting advice on her Facebook page. Thereafter, the editing team will then incorporate posts that best fit into the storyline.

“Inside” was created out of Pereira O'Dell San Francisco, with digital production company B-Reel. The online movie is directed by Disturbia and I Am Number Four director, D.J Caruso, alongside Oscar-winning cinematographer, Mauro Fiore, of Avatar and Training Day, and produced out of RSA Films. The editor is Josh Bodnar of Whitehouse Post, who recently edited the dark short, Butterflies, as well as the title sequence for new crime show, The Killing.

The film will air in short episodes starting July 25.
