Vislink launches new Advent FLA-120 Flyaway antenna

Singapore - Vislink is launching a new satellite antenna, the ADVENT FLA-120 Flyaway, specifically designed for rapid deployment at CommunicAsia, stand 1V3-01. BroadcastAsia pass holders have access to the trade show at Marina Bay Sands.

The Advent FLA-120 Flyaway is designed for users who want to transmit at low and medium data rates for live broadcast applications, IP data, as well as store and forward file transfers. This is the first antenna from VISLINK specifically aimed at this sector of the SatCom market and complements the company’s already world-renowned range of satellite antennas.

The new unit is a compact, highly portable antenna designed to be easy to use and transport. When combined with ADVENT’s state-of-the-art 5000 series control electronics, the FLA-120 Flyaway is an extremely cost effective combination that provides unmatched RF performance even when deployed to the world’s toughest environments.

Using a six-piece, high-grade alloy reflector, this high performance, robust flyaway is ideally suited for remote locations when rapid deployment, reliability and ease of use are essential. The Intelsat-compliant system can easily be set up in 15 minutes or less.
